Ayurvedic Coconut-Hemp Slice

The combination of fats, digestive spices and adaptogenic herbs give this delicious, super quick-to-make raw treat a delicate Ayurvedic twist. 

 

Time: 10 mins plus 40 minutes to chill in fridge

 

What you need: 

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil or ghee, melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (toasted)
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground cardamom seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup sultanas
  • 1/2 cup almond or hazelnut meal

 

 

 

What you do: 

 

All ingredients into a food processor. Blend on high 5 minutes or until well combined. 

Serves 16 (best served room temperature for optimal digestion!)
